Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 July 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Claudeers ("Claudeers", "we", "us") governing your use of claudeers.com and related services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Claudeers is

Claudeers is an independent community and ecosystem directory for Claude-related projects, skills, plugins, MCP servers, and integrations. We aggregate and display information about third-party projects and host community features (profiles, reviews, guestbooks, forums). Claudeers is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Anthropic PBC or Claude, and we do not provide the third-party projects we list. See our Disclaimer.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) and able to form a binding contract.
  • Accounts are created via GitHub sign-in. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your GitHub credentials secure.
  • You must provide accurate information and not impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any project or person.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law or infringe others' rights (including intellectual property);
  • post content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, deceptive, malicious (malware), or that violates privacy;
  • submit spam, manipulate rankings, ratings, or upvotes, or operate fake or multiple accounts to abuse rewards, referrals, or moderation;
  • scrape, overload, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure;
  • list or promote a project whose primary purpose violates applicable AI usage standards — including Anthropic's Usage Policy where Claude is involved (for example, malware, child sexual abuse material, fraud, weapons development, unlawful surveillance, or disinformation).

We may remove content, suspend, or ban accounts that violate these Terms, at our discretion.

4. User-generated content

You retain ownership of content you submit (reviews, ratings, comments, forum posts, profile text, and listings you create or claim). You grant Claudeers a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained in backups or as required by law, and except where others have already relied on it (for example, content quoted in a discussion).

You represent that you have the rights to the content you submit and that it does not violate Section 3. We do not pre-screen content and are not responsible for user content, but we may moderate, edit, or remove it.

5. Directory content and GitHub data

Listings may be created automatically by our scanner from public GitHub repositories (metadata and README content) via GitHub's public API, and may also be claimed and edited by a project's owner.

  • We use public, non-personal GitHub information consistent with GitHub's Acceptable Use Policies — we do not use it for spam or to sell personal information.
  • Listed projects remain the property of their respective owners and are governed by their own licenses and terms. Inclusion in the directory is not an endorsement.
  • Correction, claim, or removal: if you own a project and want your listing corrected, claimed, or removed, contact [email protected]. We will respond reasonably.

6. Intellectual property and trademarks

The Service's own design, code, text, and branding are owned by Claudeers or its licensors. "Claude", "Anthropic", and related marks are trademarks of Anthropic PBC; "GitHub" is a trademark of GitHub, Inc.; other marks belong to their respective owners. We reference these marks only nominatively to describe compatibility and ecosystem relationships. Our use does not imply any partnership, sponsorship, or endorsement.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to [email protected] including: identification of the work, the infringing URL, your contact details, a good-faith statement, a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act, and your signature. We will remove or disable infringing material and may terminate repeat infringers.

7. Paid features, billing, and refunds

Certain features are paid (for example, a verified badge, custom or removed branding, analytics, priority placement, spotlight, and extra listings), offered as one-time purchases or subscriptions and processed by Stripe.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and your benefit continues until the end of the paid period.
  • Prices and features may change; changes apply to future billing periods.
  • Refunds: paid features are digital goods and services delivered immediately and are non-refundable, and all sales are final, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Taxes are your responsibility where applicable.

The Service links to and describes third-party projects, repositories, and websites. We do not control them, do not guarantee them, and are not responsible for their content, security, licensing, or conduct. Your use of any third-party project is at your own risk and governed by that third party's terms.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DIRECTORY INFORMATION IS ACCURATE OR CURRENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLAUDEERS AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD 100.

See also our Disclaimer.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Claudeers and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any law or third-party right.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (for example, content licenses already relied upon, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, and governing law) survive.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware for any dispute, and you waive any objection to venue there.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes are indicated by the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, a notice on the Service. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
